Products and Orders

What does my box contain?

Every month we choose a theme, and then spend days scouting for the best products that reflect the theme. Several of these products have been customized by our partner brands exclusively for us – so you won’t find them anywhere else.

How many products are there in a box?

Most of our boxes contain at least 2-3 full sized products that can be enjoyed solely by you (or gifted to someone special). To quote a famous ad: No one can stop at just one!

Do I get any benefits if I buy multiple boxes?

Yes, you do! Oders above Rs. 1,500 are eligible for free shipping, so the more you buy, the more money you save (please note that this is applicable for a single order only).

Do I get any benefits for recommending you to friends and family?

Yes again. Every time you recommend a product to friend or family, you get a referral discount on your next purchase (and your friend gets a discount to boot, for having someone with such good taste in her life!)

I loved one of the products in my box, can I order more of it from your website?

We currently do not sell the products individually, but drop us a line if you really like something, and we’ll see how we can help! If you end up buying it from our selected vendors, do mention you came to them through My Big Red Bag. It gets us brownie points :)

I’m an entrepreneur, how can I have my product included in your box?

Can I buy one of your earlier boxes?

Our boxes sell out quickly! But we do occasionally have an extra one left, so the best way to check would be to drop us a line at

Payments, Returns & Cancellations

How can I pay for a box?

You can choose to pay by credit card, debit card and netbanking at the time of checkout. Since we’re a small startup, we don’t support Cash on Delivery at the moment.

My transaction got timed out, I’m not sure if my order got placed successfully?

You can call your Bank or contact us to confirm whether the payment went through. It usually takes us 24 – 48 hours for the correct status to reflect in the bank’s systems, so please be patient.

I just got my box and one or more products were damaged. How can I arrange for a replacement?

We are really sorry to hear that – we work really hard to make sure that the box and its products reach you in mint condition. Please send us a picture of the damaged product/s as soon as you receive them (not later than a 48 hours after receipt) and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund. Also note that many of our products are hand-made by small entrepreneurs, and like the best things in life, every piece is just a little bit different. So don’t worry if it doesn’t look exactly like the products in the picture!

I just placed an order but changed my mind – can I cancel it now?

Oh no :-( It’s usually not possible to cancel an order since we order the inventory/ activate the shipping process, but contact us and we’ll see how we can help.

I just got my box and didn’t like one of the products. Can I return it to you?

Sorry, individual products cannot be returned. But why don’t you pass it along to someone who’ll love and appreciate it?

Shipping, Billing & Gifting

I was expecting a Big Red Bag but got a Nice Big Box instead – what’s going on?

Ah, you’re a sharp one! If you order one of our boxes, you’ll realize that some of our products are heavy enough to umm, tear apart a big red bag. So it’s good old boxes for now!

I just placed an order, when can I expect delivery of my box?

You will also receive information about the expected date of delivery after you’ve placed your order. Most orders should reach between 2-8 days. We will also send you a shipping confirmation email as soon as the box gets shipped out from our end.

If we’ve run out of stock for a box that you really like, drop us a note at and we’ll see how we can help. Sign up for our newsletter right here, so you never miss a new box. We have at least one new box every month, and an additional one when we are feeling particularly adventurous!

Which places do you ship to?

We ship all over India with the help of our logistics partner. We don’t support international shipping at the moment, but drop us a note at if you’re located outside India and we’ll try to arrange a shipment.

How can I change the Delivery Address for my order?

You can update the information in the My Account page. Unfortunately we can’t make changes to a delivery address while an order is being processed.

I’d like to gift a subscription to my mother/ sister/ bestie/girlfriend, how can I do that?

Great idea, our boxes make fantastic gifts for the special women in your life. Just give the address of your mother/sister/bestie in the “Deliver To” field at the time of checkout, and send us a note at if you have any special instructions for the gift.

Thank you for the love, you just made our day :-) You can forward our product newsletter by email, invite friends to follow us on social media. Better still, share pictures of how you used our products on Facebook and Instagram, and you might just win a special “Thank You” freebie from us. You cannot use more than one discount code on a purchase, so if you refer a friend AND win a contest AND get a discount code (lucky you:)), be patient and use only one per purchase.

Referral bonuses are only applicable if you create an account and sign in at the point of purchase!

Referral bonuses and contests are also all time-specific, information for which will be available on the specific offer page. Make sure you use them before they expire.
