Dilliwaalas

Walk:  The Delhi Heritage Photography Club is walking in and around the Chor Minar at Hauz Khas this weekend, and if you have always wanted to learn about your city from the experts, or to take some lovely snapshots before it gets too hot to venture out, join them at 10:00 am on Sunday morning.

Watch: The American Center ends its’ Women’s History Month Film Festival with Ghost World this Saturday Evening- a lovely movie starring a young Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson, and with this priceless melding of Bollywood and Indie-Hollywood.

Bangalore Families

Kids: A Summer Story Day organised by Bookalore this Saturday brings in three children’s authors (one of whom wrote house favourite Snoring Shanmugam!)  and tons of arts and crafts activities from 10:30-12:30 am on Saturday morning at Ulsoor.

Escape: Most of the Bangalore Mountaineering Club’s events for the weekend are booked (though you can always call and check for cancellations!), but make sure you enlist for next weekend’s Scuba Diving and Snorkeling expedition to the Netrani Islands.

From Your Couches

Shop: We love Siddhant Beniwal’s Batik Scarves on sale at Jaypore from March 27-April 17. If you want to gift us one mail us at editors@mybigredbag.com (wink/wink). If you end up buying one just for yourself, send us a picture so we may indulge in some second hand buyer’s envy!

Stay safe, have fun, eat as much chocolate as is humanly possible, share MBRB with your friends, and come back on Monday morning for more from us!

Know of an event that you’d like us to feature in the next edition of The Weekend Bulletin? Or have an event you are attending this weekend that you’d like to meet a MBRB friend at? Tell us in the comments below.
