Women @ the Workplace: The MBRB Survey

Tell us what it feels like to be a working woman in India

In the second of the MBRB surveys, we want to know how workplaces can be made safer and more inclusive for women

Sexism can be obvious (“woman, get me a cup of coffee”); or subtle (“Its best I go collect the Visiting Card. That area is not safe for you in the evenings”). At My Big Red Bag, we’ve encountered a bit of both. But we’ve also encountered colleagues and companies that are making an effort to set things right. We’ve also (and we say this in all honesty), occasionally allowed ourselves to receive the benefit of doubt or compassion that our sex allows, reasoning, that in all probability, it probably balances out against some of the injustices meted out elsewhere.

We’d love to get a real sense of work places in India from readers like you. We really hope you’ll take 5 minutes of your time to complete this survey. We will share the conclusions on our website in a couple of weeks from now, and also inform you on email if you provide your email id in the form.

As always, all responses will be treated as completely confidential unless you want us to share your name with the world. We look forward to hearing from you!
